Does anyone else have this many pens? Or is it just me? and this isn’t all of them. This is what I could fit into the jar I found that I wanted to house my pens in (my sister Paige made this in pottery class in college, I love it). I have a box upstairs that houses 100’s of sharpies and markers in varying colors. And who REALLY needs 50 highlighters?

The weird thing is, I have always had this many pens (and pencils to be fair). I always figured it was because I pilfered from the man, on accident of course. I’m a nervous personality, I like to have something in my hands. When you work, that’s a pen, and somehow they always came home with me never to see the office again.
But, I haven’t worked in five years. I gave my husband all of my “Levitra” pens to pass out at work. Why do I have this many pens?
Doing a survey, the first culprit would be my Mother. She loves office supplies, and by God I do too. She loves to give pens for Christmas and for my Birthday and sometimes for no reason at all. I have packs of pens waiting be opened from my Mother. I love them Mom, and one day they will see the light.
The second culprit is the United States Air Force. So, Randy is bringing home office supplies.
The third HUGE culprit is Delta Airlines. Why are they giving you pens when you fly, honey?
The fourth culprit is Hotels. I have no excuse, I don’t know why we are stealing pens from hotels. Lots of pens.
We are the reason people feel the need to wrap their pens up in green florist tape with artificial daisies peering out, stuck in a “pot” to grow.

I am positive I have even more pens than you. I cannot resist buying all pens I see on sale, I get so many from vendors and then, I buy the ones you have the picture of, the pink one. That is hilarious! Every once in awhile, I make big fat zip lock bags full and give them to Goodwill!

Don’t you miss school supply shopping? I’m almost bummed that my kids go to a school that furnishes all supplies 😦
I totally feel lucky I’m a nurse.. I take a small pile of pens to work and leave them at he front desk then they are gone in a matter of minutes. Then I lose my pen in the first hour and can’t find one any where!
